Day Wireless Systems Welcomes Mackenzie Day as New CEO

Milwaukie, OR - Day Wireless Systems, a leading provider of wireless systems and public safety solutions, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mackenzie Day as the company's new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective August 1st, 2023. In this role, Mackenzie will take charge of guiding the company into a new era of growth and innovation. Gordon Day, the current President and CEO, will continue his association with the company as President.

Gordon Day expressed his confidence in Mackenzie stating, "I take great pride in the team we have built, and I am confident that Mackenzie will experience the same level of support as she transitions into her new role. As a company we have hit significant benchmarks that I set as goals years ago, and I am ready for Mackenzie to take the company to new heights.” Mackenzie's appointment as CEO marks a significant milestone for Day Wireless Systems, highlighting Gordon’s vision for Day Wireless to remain family owned and operated.

With over 15 years of tenure at Day Wireless Systems, Mackenzie has demonstrated exceptional leadership and communication skills with a deep understanding of the organization's operations. She has held several key positions, including Chief Operating Officer (COO), where she displayed her business acumen and dedication to the company's growth and success. Throughout her career, Mackenzie has excelled in areas such as Service Operations, Sales, and Business Development, making her an invaluable asset to the company's progress.

Mackenzie earned her bachelor's degree in business administration and management from Oregon State University. Her drive for progress and innovation, combined with her commitment to operational excellence and a culture of employee empowerment, positions her as the ideal leader to steer Day Wireless Systems towards a promising future.
