Gordon is the second generation of family leadership for the company. He literally grew up in the family telephone company business in Estacada Oregon, starting as an outside plant installer in his teens. After his business studies at Oregon State University, he moved to the wireless side of the business as the shop manager for the Portland operation and has been a hands-on leader in all aspects of the business.
Over the years Gordon has developed great relationships throughout the local community and wireless industry. He sits on various civic and industry boards, including a current stint as a board member of the Enterprise Wireless Association, and is a respected friend of the senior leadership at Motorola.
Gordon’s three children are active in the company. He is an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing and hunting all over the world.
As our CEO Lane Falkner is responsible for the development and execution of operational strategies, ensuring the achievement of company goals and objectives. Lane possesses a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service delivery.
Lane first started his career in the telecommunications while serving in the Marine Corps working in communication and encryption. He started at Day in 2006 as a Tower Climber and excelled in various positions including VP of towers, systems, and construction.
Lane is Oregon born and raised and enjoys camping with his family. Lane and his son also participate in competitive downhill mountain biking events.
Mike Ishida is our Vice President of Sales at Day Wireless Systems, with over 25 years of industry experience. During his tenure at Day Wireless Systems, Mike has held roles of responsibility in both Sales and Service Operations. He has lead our sales team to be recognized as Motorola Solutions largest partner in North America. "The ability to sustain our market leadership position is a tribute to our sales managers and salespeople, they are the best in this business."
Prior to Day Wireless Systems, Mike worked for Motorola Solutions as a Radio Communications Representative in Seattle, after graduating from Oregon State University's School of Business in 1988.
As a member of the Motorola Solutions North America Partner Advisory Council, and previously with the Motorola Solutions National Service Advisory Council, he provides input to Motorola Solutions Senior Management to ensure their success with channel relationships.
While enjoying time with his wife and two teenage children is his first priority, in his spare time he is an avid fly fisherman, skier, golfer, and kite boarder.
Dean began his journey with Day Wireless over 20 years ago as an Office Administrator in the Service Department. In 1999, Dean moved into the Tower Sites Systems Department and, over the years, came to manage the entire department. During his time at the company, he also established their regulatory FCC Licensing Division. Then in 2019, he became the Vice President of Rentals, overseeing the regulatory team, as well as the purchasing and warehouse departments.
Dean is a board member of the Enterprise Wireless Alliance regulatory board, an FCC coordinating committee, and is involved in other various FCC activities.
In his free time, Dean likes to spend his summers camping with his wife and teenage daughter in their travel trailer. Dean's favorite camping destinations are either the coast or La Pine, OR.
Kerm McPherson is our of Corporate Services and oversees our Project Management, Pre-Sale, Contracting, Engineering and IT teams. He has amassed over 30 years of business leadership experience. Kerm tries to find the fun in everything he does and believes that success lies in the incredibly hard-working and talented team of people that he works with.
After his studies at Arizona State University, he spent 17 years in the petroleum retail industry where he held positions at a local, regional, and National level prior to joining Day Wireless Systems. He has served on several industry boards and is currently Chair of the National Motorola Service Advisory Council.
Kerm enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports (Go Steelers!), listening to great music, and off-roading; where he can enjoy all of the incredible beauty that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
Bethany Davidson serves as our Director of Tower Sites overseeing our Sites division and providing support to the Systems division in managing their lease portfolio. Bethany's journey with Day Wireless began in 1997; she initially started in the service department and progressed into to various roles within the Sites division. Her passion lies in the diverse nature of our work, exploring new business opportunities, and creating scalable processes that will empower her team in their future pursuits.
Bethany earned her Bachelor of Science in Management, Communications, and Leadership from Concordia University. She graduated with honors while also working full time at Day Wireless.
Personally, Bethany enjoys nature whether it's hiking, running, kayaking, off-grid RVing or tending to her rural property. She is a mother of three, with children ranging from 4 to 18 years old.
Justin Sterrett is Director of Government Sales and oversees all Government sales efforts. His background is in sales and marketing has spanned over 2 decades, working specifically within the RF and public safety communications space. He is most passionate about public safety and doing the right thing for our first responder community.
Justin studied Business Management at Axia College and Boise State and has been certified in web design and digital marketing. He is also a certified Motorola 25 Systems Sales Professional and Motorola PCR Sales Master.
Justin grew up in rural Oregon and has lived in Oregon, Idaho, and Washington. Personally, he enjoys spending time with family, learning, and travel. When Justin can find the time, he also enjoys playing the guitar and fishing.
Steve DiMatteo is our Director of Strategic Business and oversees our global operations. He started at Day Wireless over a decade ago as a project manager. Prior to this, Steve was an Officer and Pilot in the Air Force. He believes in teamwork and that at Day "people are our greatest asset and our number one resource".
Steve has an MBA from Webster College and received his bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Penn State University. He also received and maintains a PMP certification from The Project Management Institute.
Personally, Steve prioritizes family, fitness and having a healthy lifestyle. Some of his favorite activities include attending his families events, running, lifting, and swimming.
Ryan Hall is our Director of Construction Services, responsible for overseeing our civil, tower, and cell construction divisions. With over 20 years at Day Wireless, Ryan began his career in the U.S. Army in air defense artillery before joining DWS as a tower climber. He advanced to the role of Construction Area Manager before assuming his current position.
Ryan values hands-on collaboration with his team on-site, fostering a culture that believes anything is achievable with the right attitude, strong work ethic, and determination when working together.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys staying active, traveling, and listening to music. He likes to spend his time with family and friends and tending to his family's Christmas tree farm.
