The HALO Smart Sensor is an IoT device that captures comprehensive health, safety, and vaping awareness data and metrics. It is the #1 vape detector worldwide for vaping and vaping with THC detection. As of 2023, HALO has won over 75 awards and is in thousands of school districts nationwide to help combat the vaping epidemic. HALO Smart Sensor monitoring devices and systems are effective for schools and other markets, such as healthcare facilities, hospitality, commercial buildings, apartment complexes, assisted living, and more.
Designed with privacy in mind, the HALO Smart Sensor allows you to monitor and protect areas that cannot be covered by video security solutions.
The new software features in HALO allow its users to capture comprehensive building awareness with an all-in-one device. Used for health and safety, HALO is a vape detector, an air quality monitor, and a complete security device for privacy areas where you do not want to use a camera or microphone. With a single device HALO provides building health monitoring, indoor air quality monitoring, vape detection, thc detection, gunshot detection, emergency keyword alerting, audible alerting, light/occupancy alerting, chemical alerting, VOC alerting, tamper alerting as well as temperature, humidity, and pressure alerting.
Multiple Sensors
Our device has over 12 unique detection sensors that work in conjunction to detect a multitude of measurements with unlimited customization. It’s the only vape detector that detects THC oil!
Designed for Air Flow
Built with airflow in mind! The unit’s design allows the sensors to pick up harmful chemicals faster!
Less False Alarms
With multiple sensors and advanced analytics, settings are adjusted and maximized for the environment of the room. As a result, it removes false alarms that singular sensors get from body and disinfectant sprays.
The HALO Smart Sensor notifies you in real-time of vaping, smoke, chemicals, abnormal noise levels, and more. It also quickly detects instances of bullying, fighting, or smoking. Integrate with Avigilon Unity Video or Alta Video to receive alerts of potentially critical events in privacy-concern areas where video security solutions are not permitted.
The safety & security device you need
HALO Smart Sensor 3C is at the forefront of solving ever-evolving safety and security concerns as the industry leader in monitoring facility privacy areas. HALO 3C protects the privacy of individuals as it does not use cameras, record audio, or capture any personally identifiable information (PII), making it the perfect solution for privacy areas such as restrooms and common areas.
New security and environmental monitoring features provide users with even greater levels of security and easier installation. These features add to HALO’s existing features of gunshot detection, noise alerts, vape detection, and emergency keyword alerting.
HALO 3C New Sensors
The same HALO you know and love, now with more features, easier surface mount install, and the ability to power two units using the same cable run!
Newest people counting feature
Multifunctional vape detection, safety, air quality, and environmental monitoring device - now with people counting!
HALO Smart Sensor is multi-patented and the design is trademarked. The HALO 3C-PC builds on IPVideo’s industry leadership in the detection of health, safety, and security concerns in areas where privacy is paramount, such as bathrooms. Its people-counting and motion-detection technologies can be used to confirm occupancy, determine how many people are within a space, and whether they are moving.
More sensors for safer with the HALO sensor suite
The HALO Smart Sensor 3C and 3C-PC by IPVideo, a Motorola Solutions company, is extending security, health, and situational awareness for the HALO 3C family of products with HALO Amplify — the Connected Sensor Suite. This comprises panic buttons, people counting, open door/window, temperature/humidity, and water leak sensors.
HALO Amplify’s Connected Sensor Suite is designed to help protect people and property in schools, commercial offices, hospitals, hotels, and rental properties. Up to 30 Bluetooth-enabled, battery-powered sensors can be wirelessly connected to each HALO Smart Sensor 3C or 3C-PC on your network. All sensor and event data is then made available in real-time via HALO Cloud dashboards, the HALO Cloud App, HALO device web interface and via third-party integrations.
Amplify privacy
Have peace of mind knowing HALO Amplify sensor suite provides the same level of privacy protection that all HALO products do. Ideal for use in isolated areas like restrooms, executive board rooms, hotel rooms, and more, the device operates without the use of video or audio recording and never captures any personally identifiable information (PII).
Stay ahead with HALO Cloud
HALO Cloud enables staff to respond rapidly to vaping, environmental, and safety events via real-time site-specific notifications. Allocate resources effectively with a range of analytics and reporting capabilities, aggregate data, and manage multiple devices across multiple sites.
The power of HALO Cloud is now available at your fingertips
The HALO Cloud App combines actionable intelligence and real-time notification of events with analytics such as heat maps and event trend graphs - all on your mobile device. Version 3.0 and above enables users with access rights to multiple sites to filter data and analytics by location.
As part of the newest v2.5 software release, HALO provides both a real-time Air Quality and Health Index that sends alerts when either index falls into danger zones. In conjunction with HALO Cloud, the sensor also provides critical automated reports that allow building owners and administrators to demonstrate they are providing a healthy indoor environment and/or validate that facility improvement is needed.
Lockdown & Emergency Response System
Active shooter situations are a horrible daily threat in our society. Schools, places of worship, grocery stores, hospitals, malls, movie theaters, and bars have all been targeted. SentryERS is the most effective way to protect children, staff, and first responders from death and injury during active shooter and other incidents.
Each SentryERS consists of two devices, a base unit with a lockdown button that can initiate lockdown protocols for the entire facility, and a dedicated SentryERS QuickCom. Each piece has the capability to broadcast a live video stream and communicate with first responders, providing all the latest real-time information at the scene.
With SentryERS, facilities are receiving:
