The HALO Smart Sensor (HALO), built by IPVideo Corporation, is a real-time vape detector and security device that helps to detect potentially critical events in privacy concern areas that involve environmental changes, air quality changes (by particulate matter), and abnormal noise levels. This smart sensor is able to detect vaping, smoking, chemicals, and noise level fluctuations that can indicate bullying and fighting.
Integrating HALO with Avigilon Control Center (ACC), this helps to keep facilities alerted of potentially critical events that may have otherwise gone completely unnoticed, making it possible to protect people and spaces even where video security solutions are not permitted. Once HALO senses a threat, users will receive an alarm in ACC. At that point, security personnel or administrators will be able to quickly respond and apprehend the situation.
All-in-one, intelligent device
A single HALO sensor can help with Vape and THC Detection, Air Quality Monitoring, Aggression Detection and Calls for Help, Gunshot Detection, Spread of Infectious Diseases Prevention, Chemical and Gas Detection, and Vandalism and Trespassing Alerts.
Real-time alerts
Receive real-time alerts when the sensor detects an anomaly in ACC. Each time the sensor triggers, the nearby camera to the HALO sensor will pull up a live feed in ACC. From there, operators and administrators can immediately respond to the incident, identify an individual, and take action accordingly.
Integration & analytics
Integrates into a broader security infrastructure and provides data analytics to monitor violation alarm rates.
Cost-savings
Prevent damage and associated cleaning costs that are caused by smoke particles and poor air quality.
ACC mobile 3 App
Ability to connect and configure the sensors so when an alarm is triggered, it will alert ACC users on their mobile app.
