WAVE PTX RoIP Solution

The offering provides commercial WAVE end customers with the ability to interop with Motorola Solutions and other LMR systems. This is possible because of a third-party RoIP gateway component.

There are three components required for the solution:

1. The hardware (RoIP gateway)
2. Motorola’s system integration/onboarding
3. LMR interop license OR a SafeGuard license for every user intending to interop

The end customer must have the following in place for the RoIP solution to work:

• Base Tier WAVE PTX with LMR Interop add-on or WAVE PTX SafeGuard subscription.
• RoIP gateway
• Appropriate data interface cable
• Desired quantity of RoIP audio port licenses
• Every RoIP gateway has 1 audio port license by default

WAVE PTX Radio Gateway (WRG)

The Motorola Solutions TT3705B WAVE PTX™ Radio Gateway (WRG) is compatible with Motorola WAVE devices and two-way radios. By connecting the WAVE PTX™ Radio Gateway to your existing two-way radio network and to the MSI WAVE PTX service you can bridge talk groups and extend the range of your radio system.

• WAVE PTX Radio Gateway to provide an interface from Wave to Capacity Plus and Capacity Max radio systems.
• Device WAVE Subscriptions need to be SAFEGUARD to work with this Gateway.
• WAVE gateway software.
• Off-the-shelf micro desktop.
• Ships fully loaded and ready to connect.
• Hardware based product with HP PRODESK 400.
• Multiple concurrent voice paths.
